Field Help (?) Icons - Show / Hide

In Add, Edit and View entry screens, a small ? icon appears next to each field caption. Click or tap it to read what the field is for and how to fill it.

Moving between fields

  • Press Enter or Tab to move to the next field. Both keys go straight from one field to the next.
  • The ? icons, and the Hide Address button in the party address box, are skipped by the keyboard. They still work when you click or tap them.

How to show or hide the ? icons

  1. Open the Utility menu.
  2. Click Field Help (?) Show / Hide.
  3. A small window shows whether the icons are currently SHOWN or HIDDEN for you.
  4. Click Hide Icons or Show Icons. Click Close to leave it as it is.

The change applies straight away, including to the entry screen that is already open.

Good to know

  • The setting is personal. It applies only to your login, on every computer and phone you sign in from. Other users are not affected.
  • The icons are shown by default.
  • If you do not see the option in the Utility menu, log out and log in again once.
  • Nothing about the entry itself changes. This only affects how the screen looks.
