In day-to-day business operations, it's common to have multiple customer or supplier accounts representing the same organization but under different names. To streamline such scenarios, Merciglobal Cloud ERP provides the functionality to group these accounts using the Account Group Master (A/C Group Master) feature.

What is an Account Group?ยถ

An Account Group is a master entity in Merciglobal Cloud ERP that links multiple customer/supplier accounts under a single group identifier. This logical grouping helps in:

  • Identifying dues and balances from a particular group
  • Running customer/supplier-wise reports at a group level
  • Better decision-making for sales, collections, or procurement

How It Worksยถ

  1. Create an Account Group
  2. Navigate to Masters > A/C Group Master
  3. Click "New" and assign a Group Name (e.g., "ABC Group")
  4. Save the record

  5. Assign Accounts to Group

  6. Go to each Customer/Supplier Master that is part of the group
  7. Set the A/C Group Master field to the desired group (e.g., "ABC Group")
  8. Save the updated account
